If you own or inherited a Native allotment or restricted townsite lot in the AVCP region, AVCP Realty handles the BIA paperwork: gift deeds, land exchanges, mortgages, partitions, revocable use permits, rights-of-way, leases and sales (ANCSA corporation land and private property are not covered). The Probate staff help families determine heirs after a landowner dies and prepare the packet for the Interior Department's Office of Hearings and Appeals, and encourage every allotment owner to complete a will.
