Bethel Community Services Foundation (BCSF) scholarships

BCSF runs three local scholarships each spring: the Mary Ciuniq Pete Legacy Scholarship ($1,500 x 3, for KuC students with 6+ credits completed and 2.5 GPA, preference to Alaska Native women from rural Western Alaska), the John Active Memorial Scholarship ($1,000, any college student with Y-K Delta ties, preference to journalism/Indigenous language/media majors, 2.5 GPA), and the Bethel Registered Nurse Education Scholarship ($1,000 x 2, for the KuC-based UAA nursing cohort, 2.0 GPA). 2026 deadlines were June 1 (Pete and Active) and June 22 (RN); expect similar dates in 2027.
