The Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge office and visitor center at 807 Eddie Hoffman State Highway in Bethel is the federal subsistence manager for most of the Y-K Delta. Rural residents with customary and traditional use come here for federal subsistence permits and information on the Kuskokwim federal salmon fishery, moose hunts (including registration/federal permits where required) and spring-summer subsistence waterfowl harvest under the AMBCC rules. Office open Mon-Fri 9am-3pm (some documents say 8am-4:30pm) except federal holidays.
