Kaktovik Water Pumping and Lagoon Discharge Begins

The North Slope Borough announced that Kaktovik water pumping and lagoon discharge will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday, September 13, continuing for approximately 36 hours until Monday, September 14, with a Do Not Drink notice remaining in effect and limited airport road access during the operation.
