Today, NSBSD staff celebrated Superintendent David Vadiveloo’s last day by “dressing like David”. As David completes his time as Superintendent, we want to express our sincere appreciation for his years of service and dedication to the children and families of the North Slope. Throughout his time with NSBSD, David has worked to keep students at the heart of the District’s work while supporting our schools, staff, families, and communities. He has been a strong advocate for Iñupiaq language and culture and for ensuring that who we are as Iñupiat remains an important part of the education we provide our students. We thank David for the time, energy, and heart he has given to NSBSD and for the relationships he has built throughout our communities. His leadership and commitment to the students of the North Slope will be remembered and appreciated. Quyanaqpak, David, for your service to the North Slope Borough School District and, most importantly, to our children and families. We wish you and your family all the best in your next chapter!
