KPU Water Division

KPU Water provides drinking water inside Ketchikan city limits (roughly from the Coast Guard base south of town to Ketchikan Ready-Mix on the north). Water problems: call the Water Division at 2930 Tongass Avenue, 907-228-2441 weekdays, or 907-225-4011 after hours (the Bailey Powerhouse line); the operations warehouse is 1029 Fair Street, 907-225-3543. Saxman runs its own city water system, and Mountain Point/Shoup Street are on a Borough system; Shoreline and other outlying areas are on private wells. Annual water quality reports and the March 2026 rate sheet are posted on the page. Accounts and billing go through KPU Customer Service 907-225-1000.
