Grow Ketchikan (economic development, small-business help, micro-loans, affordable housing)

Grow Ketchikan is the local economic development nonprofit. It offers free business counseling (incorporation, nonprofit status, planning, marketing, finance), an Economic Development Loan Fund with low-interest micro-loans up to $5,000 for small businesses, startups and nonprofits, a 12-week 'Grow & Thrive' mentorship program with Alaska Women's Business Center ($299, starts mid-February), a mariculture innovation hub (kelp/oyster seed production), and it facilitates affordable housing (20-unit townhouse project; co-founded the Ketchikan Community Land Trust).
