Native Village of Kotzebue (NVOK) IRA

The Native Village of Kotzebue is the federally recognized tribal government serving the Iñupiaq people of Qikiqtaġruk, located at 600 5th Avenue (PO Box 296), Kotzebue, AK 99752. It runs Administration, Transportation, Realty, Tribal Courts, Housing, Nikaitchuat Iḷisaġviat (Iñupiaq immersion school), and Tribal Family Services (including ICWA). Tribal Council holds regular council meetings, and NVOK posts job openings, scholarship deadlines, elder spotlights, and youth programs on its own Facebook page. NVOK also co-hosts community gatherings such as the biennial Qatŋut trade-fair celebration.
