Qatŋut — Northwest Arctic Trade Fair

Qatŋut is a biennial celebration at Sisualik near Kotzebue reviving the region's historic trade-fair gathering, with traditional dancing, a cloth and fur sewing competition, games, arts and crafts competition, and a traditional foods competition. It's organized jointly by the Native Village of Kotzebue tribal government, the Northwest Arctic Borough, NANA Regional Corporation, and Maniilaq Association, with support from the National Park Service. The most recent gathering was July 2-4, 2025; vendors and craftspeople wanting a table should contact NANA or the Native Village of Kotzebue directly, since no separate public vendor-registration page was found.
