7:25 PM Sat 10/31: Winds will be on the rise early next week as a series of low pressure systems in the Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska work to bring a mix of rain/snow showers and gusty winds to Northern Alaska. The strongest winds will be along the coast and across higher elevations. Here's a look at the strongest wind gusts expected Monday through Wednesday. Along the Arctic Coast and West Coast, the strongest winds will be out of the east/northeast, limiting onshore flow and keeping coastal concerns minimal at this time. #akwx
