🎓🦁 SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY! The Barrow Lions Club is accepting applications for the Sue Bowen/Gigi Gueco Martelle Memorial Scholarship! A total of $5,000 will be divided among up to five qualified applicants to support college or vocational education. Applicants must: ✅ Be a Barrow/Utqiaġvik resident ✅ Be eligible to attend or currently attending a two-year college, four-year college or university, or vocational school full time ✅ Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 Submit a completed, signed application, official transcripts, two written recommendations, and a 350–500-word essay answering: “What Is an Important Community Issue and How Would You Solve It?” 📅 Deadline: Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 4 PM 🔗 Apply here: https://forms.gle/TrFJWSruTkWxbSK79 📧 Applications may also be submitted to barrowlionsclub99723@gmail.com or delivered to the Barrow High School Counselor’s Office.
