CSAC Declaration Deadline

CSAC DECLARATIONS DUE TODAY BY 4:00 PM NSBSD encourages community members across the North Slope to consider serving on their local Community School Advisory Council (CSAC). We especially encourage residents of Wainwright and Atqasuk to submit a Declaration of Candidacy. At this time, we have not received any declarations from these two communities. Both communities have multiple open CSAC seats. Serving on your CSAC is an opportunity to be involved with your local school and help strengthen the connection between the school, families, and community. CSAC members provide an important local voice and help bring community needs and concerns forward. All communities are encouraged to submit declarations before the deadline today, September 29, at 4:00 p.m. Declaration of Candidacy forms are available at your local school office and must be returned to the school office by the deadline. Please consider stepping forward to serve your school and community. Your involvement matters.
