📢 PRESS RELEASE: NSBSD School Board Reorganization The North Slope Borough School District (NSBSD) is pleased to announce the reorganization of its School Board at its October 15, 2026, Special Meeting. Four board members took the oath of office as the Board welcomed its new leadership. The following members were sworn in and will serve in their respective seats: District 3, Seat A: Heidi Ahsoak District 3, Seat B: Frieda Moore District 3, Seat C: Angelica Alivrun Itta District 2, Seat E: Madeline Hickman During the meeting, Madeline Hickman was appointed Board President, and Frieda Moore was appointed Board Clerk. The NSBSD School Board looks forward to continuing its work in support of students, families and communities across the North Slope. Please join us in congratulating the board members on their roles and wishing them success as they work together to support student achievement and strengthen education throughout our district.
