For 60 years, the AFN Convention has brought people together to celebrate culture and share traditions from communities across Alaska. This year’s theme, Rooted in Land and Tradition, Rising in Our Voices, honored the generations who came before while looking ahead to the future. Alaska Commercial Company was proud to once again sponsor the convention. Over three days, AC team members volunteered at the booth, where they had the opportunity to connect with customers from communities across the state. In the evenings, the team joined hundreds of attendees for Quyana Alaska, a longstanding celebration of traditional dance and music that helps preserve traditions and pass them on to future generations. Thank you, Alaska, for welcoming us and allowing us to be part of this year’s celebration. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
