Iḷisaġvik College at the 43rd Annual Statewide Elders & Youth Conference

Original post

Last week we wrapped up our visit to the First Alaskans Institute's 43rd Annual Statewide Elders & Youth Conference. On Tuesday, we hosted a very busy and successful Qulliliuqta - Let's Make Seal Oil Lamps workshop. Watching participants of all ages learn together, share stories, and connect through this beautiful experience was truly inspiring. Special QUYANAQ to our student interns, Annie Qavvik Saganna, and Nicole Utqituaq Nayokpuk, for putting together the qulliq kits for workshop participants. And to our Iḷisaġvik staff who helped lead the workshop. We were so thrilled to be at this conference again. Quyanaq to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a meaningful gathering. #eldersandyouth #ilisagvikcollege #tcu #afn #conference
