SouthEast Alaska Regional Health ConsortiumA patient called with concerns about their knee but wasn’t sure it was serious enough to come in. Danielle McCarthy listened, asked a few more questions and encouraged them to be evaluated.
It turned out to be a severe septic knee infection that could have become life-threatening if left untreated.
At SEARHC, we believe exceptional care starts with seeing the person behind the patient. Through compassion, clinical excellence and a commitment to listening closely, Danielle helps patients feel heard, supported and cared for at every step of their journey.
Please join us in congratulating Danielle on being named a 2026 The DAISY Foundation Award recipient! 🌼191

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health ConsortiumBreast Cancer Awareness? Very chic.
Knowing your body, staying on top of recommended screenings and making informed decisions about your health are all part of taking care of you.
And if cost is standing between you and getting screened, SEARHC’s Breast & Cervical Health Program may be able to help. The program provides financial assistance to eligible Alaskan women ages 21–64 for certain breast and cervical cancer screenings and diagnostic testing, including mammograms.
