About this service
Barrow Utilities & Electric Cooperative awards five $1,500 Beverly Maasak Ahgeak Memorial Scholarships each year to students starting an educational or apprenticeship program. To qualify, you or your parent/guardian must be a BUECI member, you must have earned (or be about to earn) a high-school diploma or equivalent in Barrow or at an Alaska boarding school, and you must be an active full- or part-time student at a U.S. institution when funds are disbursed.
