Bethel Friends of CaninesAll of these dogs have made in so far for our big spay/neuter clinic this coming week! A big thank you to Grant Aviation and Fox Air for sending these pups into Bethel. Bethel Friends of CaninesIt's been 1 year since we responded to the destruction left behind by Typhoon Halong. We helped a little over 260 animals in a 2 week time span, we learned a lot and are a little more prepared if it happens again (which we hope it won't). We still can't thank those of you who donated, dropped off food or sent snacks, the volunteers/foster homes who stepped up and helped out, the airline companies that flew dogs from the villages and into Anchorage enough. Seeing so many people come together and help out is why Alaska is so special and we saw that even beyond our state. It's been 1 year since we responded to the destruction left behind by Typhoon Halong.313 shares

Bethel Friends of CaninesWe always say the YK Delta has the cutest pups and we're not wrong. Puppies grow up to be adults. When you take on that responsibility make sure it's something you have really thought about. We have had some cute puppies come through, but boy has it been exhausting! All of these guys went into Anchorage yesterday thanks to Northern Air Cargo to find their furever homes when they are ready! We couldn't do what we do without our flight partners! 💕Puppies transported to Anchorage for adoption109710 shares
Bethel Friends of CaninesLucky would like to remind everyone on our behalf. PLEASE DON'T SEND ANIMALS TO US IF WE HAVE NO IDEA!! We need to have these things arranged so we know when they are showing up, have a spot for them and are able to take proper care of them. We have a list and send kennels out when we are ready. If we don't know animals are coming in and they randomly show up, it puts us in a tight space and we are already working our butts off as it is. We don't need the added stress. We will help you, we need a heads up and to plan for it.Bethel Friends of Canines Request for Animal Drop-Offs6012 shares
