Your Data, Your Community

Olen Hub is built on a foundational principle: the data you and your community generate belongs to your community — not to Olen Arc. Olen Arc acts as a data processor, not an owner. We handle your data only to operate the service and only according to your direction.

What We Collect

There is no login or account. You can use the whole app — the Navigator, calendar, news, and directory — without signing in or giving us anything. We only ever store something when you choose to:

• Phone number— only if you opt in to safety & weather text alerts, used only to send you those alerts. It is never required to use the app, and we never sell or share it. You can unsubscribe anytime.
• Messages you send us — if you submit a request, report a problem, or ask ASCF to follow up, we keep your message (and the optional contact you provide) so we can respond.
• On your device— your saved chats, the name and village you choose for the community board, and your “Elder mode” setting stay in your own browser, not on our servers.
• Anonymous usage stats — which screens and features get used, so we can improve the app. This is not tied to your name and is never sold or used for advertising.

We do not collect your location, contacts, or advertising identifiers.

Indigenous Data Sovereignty

We recognize the right of Indigenous communities to govern the collection, ownership, and application of data about their peoples and territories. Community-level data (aggregate usage, program uptake) is shared back with partnering tribal entities, not retained or monetized by Olen Arc. You may request deletion of your personal records at any time.

Security & Storage

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use industry-standard cloud infrastructure. We never sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, or third parties.

Your Rights

You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccuracies, or full deletion by emailing privacy@olenarc.com. We will respond within 30 days.
