To start electric, gas, water or sewer service in Utqiaġvik you become a BUECI member: fill out the Membership Application (residential or business), bring a federal or state photo ID, and pay a security deposit for each line of service plus any connection fee. Take it to 1295 Agvik Street, Monday–Friday 8:00–12:00 and 1:00–5:00 (closed for lunch), or call 907-852-6166 option 1. Pay bills through SmartHub (bueci.smarthub.coop) or the automated line 1-855-939-3753; report outages any time at 907-852-6166.
