About this service
Each summer the City of Utqiaġvik runs a Summer Youth Program that places students in sponsored summer jobs with the City and partner organizations. Students fill out the Student Application; sponsoring organizations fill out the SYP Sponsored Registration Form (2026 version posted). Forms are on utqiagvik.us/forms and are turned in at City Hall, 2022 Ahkovak St; call the City at 907-852-5211 in spring for this year's dates, ages, and pay. The North Slope Borough and NVB also hire youth in summer — watch KBRW and the OlenHub calendar.
