ICAS Vocational Rehabilitation — job help for North Slope residents with a disability

If a disability makes it hard to get or keep work — a learning disability, mental illness, back or joint problems, amputation, head injury, severe diabetes, seizures, a developmental disability — ICAS Vocational Rehabilitation can help with counseling and guidance, vocational training, licenses, equipment and tools, assistive technology, medical/psychiatric referrals, and support for subsistence work and job retention. It is for Alaska Native / American Indian residents of the North Slope; others are referred to the State DVR.
