About this service
Tuzzy Consortium Library (5421 North Star St, Utqiaġvik; 907-852-4050 / 1-800-478-6916) is free for all North Slope residents. You can sign up for a library card through the online catalog ('Get a Library Card') or at the desk, borrow e-books and audiobooks through the Alaska Digital Library (OverDrive/Libby app) with your card, and request books the library does not own through Interlibrary Loan (ILL) — useful for the villages, where items are mailed. Hours: Monday–Friday noon–7pm, Saturday noon–5pm, closed Sunday (seasonal changes — call). Children's and teen programs are on the events calendar at tuzzy.org. Tuzzy Consortium Library, 907-852-4050, is a community hub with free books, internet and a safe space for learning and connection for all ages.
